The Biomedical Research Center offers a postdoctoral position:
The Master’s Degree programme is organized by the three universities in Galicia (NW Spain): University of Santiago de Compostela, University of A Coruña and University of Vigo.
The programme is characterized by being interdisciplinary and covers basic, applied and clinical aspects of neuroscience, as well as training in new technologies such as genomics and bioinformatics. The programme counts on the participation of a large number of researchers involved in the following fields: Cellular Neurobiology, Neurochemistry and Molecular Neurobiology, Neurogenetics, Neuroanatomy, Neurobiology of Development and Aging, Neurophysiology, Neuroendocrinology, Comparative Neurobiology, Neuropharmacology, Psychobiology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Neurobiology of Disease, Neuropsychiatry, Computational Neuroscience and Experimental Techniques in Neurobiology.
The paper was written by Dr. Jose Faro, who belongs to the Immunology Laboratory of CINBIO. They have demonstrated in the paper, that the TCR repertoires of Tfh and Tfr cells are actually very different from each other. This suggests the possibility that Tfh cells are antigen specific and Tfr cells are mainly self-reactive, an open question that remains to be proved.
The next 9th of May, will take place the conference “Reclasificación de las enfermedades autoinmunes sistémicas” by Dr. Marta Alarcón Riquelme (Centro Pfizer- Universidad de Granada – Junta de Andalucía de Genómica e Investigación Oncológica (GENYO). The conference will be at “Alvaro Cunqueiro” Hospital in Vigo.
Recently, Estela Magazine has published one article about CINBIO Neuroscience Laboratory and their work about the origin and development of diseases such as Parkinson, Alzheimer or ALS. This research is in cooperation with the University of Santiago de Compostela, the University of A Coruña and the Institute of Sanitary Research of Southern Galicia.
The commission publishes the resolution of the process CINBIO 17-18.
The commission publishes the list of selected candidates CINBIO 19.
The next 27th of April, will take place the conference “Tuberculosis y Nanotecnología: Galicia en la vanguardia” that is organized by CorBi Citizen Science in A Coruña. The conference will be given by África González-Fernández, Director of Biomedical Research Center.
The paper was writed by Endocrinology´s Lab of CINBIO and leaded for Dr. Federico Mallo, “Stressing diabetes? The hidden links between insulinotropic peptides and the HPA axis” was a top downloaded article in Journal of Endocrinology during 2016 with 596 times.
The commision publishes the resolution.
