Master’s Degree in Neuroscience.

The Master’s Degree programme is organized by the three universities in Galicia (NW Spain): University of Santiago de Compostela, University of A Coruña and University of Vigo.
The programme is characterized by being interdisciplinary and covers basic, applied and clinical aspects of neuroscience, as well as training in new technologies such as genomics and bioinformatics. The programme counts on the participation of a large number of researchers involved in the following fields: Cellular Neurobiology, Neurochemistry and Molecular Neurobiology, Neurogenetics, Neuroanatomy, Neurobiology of Development and Aging, Neurophysiology, Neuroendocrinology, Comparative Neurobiology, Neuropharmacology, Psychobiology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Neurobiology of Disease, Neuropsychiatry, Computational Neuroscience and Experimental Techniques in Neurobiology.

The approximate budget allocation is 200 euros per activity although a maximum quantity is not set up. The deadline for the reception of proposals to apply for the organization of an “International Day of…” to be carried out until november 2015 is 16.10.2015. After finishing the activity, the researcher must fill the “Impact of activity Form”.

Biocaps Call: Twinning activities 2015


Researchers involved in BIOCAPS Project can apply for short or long stays in 2015. Applications will be admitted throughout the year until October 16th, 2015


Every RAC (Research Area Coordinator) will be in charge of the first selection of proposals of his/her own area, taking into account the indicators listed in the project proposal and also the potential benefit for the IBIV resulting from these twinning activities.

M-era.Net (From materials science and engineering to innovation for Europe) – Joint Call 2015

The M-ERA.NET Call 2015 opens on 3 February 2015. 35 funding agencies from 22 European countries as well as Taiwan, Korea, Brazil Sao Paulo and Russia participate in this joint call, with a total available public funding of more than 25 million Euro.
