Hiring of a PREDOCTORAL RESEARCHER for the Materials Chemistry and Physics and Functional NanoBioMaterials Groups, CINBIO- University of Vigo, Campus Vigo.
CINBIO is a multidisciplinary research centre with more than 200 members of staff: professors, lecturers, PhD candidates, and lab technicians. A commitment of the University of Vigo to develop the biomedical and biotechnological field with a differentiating element with respect to other centers with similar characteristics: its multidisciplinary nature.
Top level researchers in disciplines as varied as medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and information technology are clustered in our nineteen research groups. We work around four major areas related to biomedicine and biotechnology.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONTRACT:
Type of contract: Contract for work or service
Estimated duration: 4 months (renewable up to 3 years)
Estimated start date of the contract: 01/10/2021 (It can be negotiable depending on the personal situation of the candidate)
Salary: 1.300 euros gross per month
Full time work: 40 hours per week
Place of work: CINBIO - University of Vigo, Campus Lagoas-Marcosende (Vigo)

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Ability to work in a team and high motivation
Experience in wet chemistry methods and nanocrystal characterization will be highly valued
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor/Graduate in Chemistry, Physics
Master in Chemistry or Materials Science
SELECTION PROCESS:
The selection process will be resolved by a commission made up of the group coordinator and two members of the research group
