Professional Development. Continuous Training and Mentoring

One of CINBIO’s key objectives is the consolidation and monitoring of its internal training plan, as it contributes to the development and success not only of the staff but of the Center as a whole. To achieve this, CINBIO has created a series of tools such as the Training Committee and the Training Plan, which includes periodic evaluations to identify training opportunities that support the center’s growth.

This approach addresses the diverse needs of different audiences, including early-stage researchers, postdoctoral staff, management personnel, technical support staff, and others. Furthermore, the training plan is aligned with the center’s strategic objectives to ensure that it contributes to its overall goals.

  • Training Committee

    Implemented in 2023 and coordinated by Verónica Salgueiriño, in collaboration with the area coordinators, David Posada and Isabel Pastoriza, and in cooperation with the group leaders to identify training needs. The committee also receives support from Pablo Hervés in coordinating the Doctoral Program.

  • Establishment of the 2023–2027 Training Plan

    Focusing on skill development, continuous training, promotion of innovation, talent retention, collaboration and teamwork, leadership, regulations/ethics, and enhancing the center’s reputation. In other words, it includes both scientific-technical and transversal training through conferences, lectures, and seminars, encompassed within the postdoctoral training program, the international training program (within the framework of Horizon Europe MSCA actions or Doctoral Networks), among others.
