DATAlife

DATAlife’s mission is to boost the value of Galicia as a European reference in bioresources, sustainability and health by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and other disruptive technologies as a strategic lever for innovation and business competitiveness. Built around DIH DATAlife, founded in 2019 as a non-profit association, DATAlife’s unique proposition is based on our region’s strengths and the interrelation between critical value chains, instead of focusing on one technology or one industry, a differential approach that is already proven to be successful for the advancement of digitalisation.

Fundación Biomédica Galicia Sur

Galicia Sur Biomedical Foundation provides support and advice to professionals and researchers from the Galicia Sur Health Research Institute and different hospitals of Vigo, Pontevedra and Ourense. The IIS Galicia Sur is a multidisciplinary research space in biomedicine, based on the 2nd floor of the Technical Block of the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo with more than 1,700 square meters of different research laboratories.

CETGA

CETGA, the Technologic centre of the aquaculture cluster, is a private research centre established in 2001 by the Aquaculture Cluster, a business association which brings together companies related to the fish farming sector, mainly in Galicia.

Qubiotech

The Galician biotech company Qubiotech Health Intelligence is an SME dedicated to the development and commercialisation of software to improve the diagnosis and monitoring of neurodegenerative diseases through image processing based on Artificial Intelligence.

Nanofaber

NANOFABER (NFAB) is an innovative SME of Italy committed to the development of nanobiotechnology products and smart polymers for several advanced engineering sectors. The company has a solid R&D background in nanotechnology and engineering, being founded and directed by experienced scientists and being officially associated with ENEA, the second largest Italian public R&D Institute.

Ibonelab

CRO for animal preclinical models with special focus in biocompatibility of materials and medical devices. Thin section histology lab with high expertise in processing hard tissues for microscopy (calcified tissues, metals, ceramics…).

Tecnalia

TECNALIA is a private, independent, non-profit, applied Research Centre of international excellence. TECNALIA is one of the largest in Europe, employing around 1,500 people (270 PhDs). TECNALIA is a member of EARTO and of EUROTECH, linking together the most important RTOs in Europe

NIA

Nanogap

We are a spin-off of the University of Santiago de Compostela created in 2006. We currently have a wide presence in international markets. The Universidad Miguel Hernández of Elche is a young and dynamic public University located in southeast of Spain. IDiBE is one UMH research institute, and it has a high potential in research and excellence. The areas in which the researchers are specialised and multidisciplinar, including bionanomaterials, bioactivity characterization, drug discovery, food technology. cosmetics and molecular and cellular biology. The European Commission awarded the Seal of Excellence in Human Resources for Research (HRS4R) to the UMH in 2019, a distinction that was renewed (2021)
