Welcome
Every summer, researchers at CINBIO come together to showcase their expertise and share the latest advances in the center core research areas of Nanomaterials and Biomedicine, integrating materials chemistry, molecular and cellular biology, computational sciences, and translational health research.
The IX Annual Meeting, to be held on July 20–21, 2026, in Vigo, is organized by CINBIO postdoctoral researchers with the support of the CINBIO Management Unit. It reflects the centre’s strongly interdisciplinary character and fosters collaboration across scientific boundaries. Scientists from around the world are invited to contribute their knowledge and perspectives to enrich scientific exchange.
The meeting will bring together internationally recognized researchers in materials science and biomedicine, with special emphasis on current and future applications. Through keynote and invited lectures delivered by distinguished national and international speakers, the scientific programme will highlight the multidisciplinary strength of our research centre. Experts in Cancer Research, Nanomaterials, Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, Immunology, Chemical Synthesis, and other fields represented at CINBIO will present their latest findings and perspectives.
This edition places particular focus on promoting the research carried out by young researchers, creating a friendly environment that encourages interaction with established scientists through oral and poster contributions.
The central theme of this year’s meeting, “Shaping the Future – Bond by Bond, Cell by Cell”, invites participants to engage in creative discussions on recent discoveries and innovative methodologies driving advances in biomedicine and nanotechnologies. We warmly encourage academics, early-career researchers, and students to participate, share their work, and contribute to an open and dynamic scientific dialogue.
