EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: MSCA-PF 2026 - CINBIO (Universidade de Vigo, Spain)

  • Start date: publication date
  • End date: 30/06/2026

CINBIO (Universidade de Vigo, Spain) invites excellent postdoctoral researchers to submit an Expression of Interest and develop a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026 proposal in interdisciplinary areas at the interface of Nanomaterials and Biomedicine. The aim is to foster innovative projects addressing key challenges in health, biotechnology, and advanced materials, combining experimental and computational approaches.

Research topics span precision oncology, multi-omics and next generation therapeutics, computational and AI-driven biomedical research, systems biology, neuroscience and global health, as well as advanced nanomaterials including photonic, plasmonic, semiconductor, magnetic and catalytic systems, nano–bio interactions, biomolecular interfaces, and smart and functional materials. Proposals may address cancer biology, personalised medicine, rare and infectious diseases, advanced therapies and diagnostics, sustainable chemistry, and bioanalytical applications.

CINBIO provides access to more than 30 laboratories and core facilities for bioexperimentation, nanomaterial synthesis, sample preparation and advanced characterisation (including microscopy, flow cytometry, molecular biology, spectroscopy and nanofabrication), as well as HPC clusters, NGS and 10X platforms, and clinical resources through CACTI and regional hospitals and biobanks.

The project will benefit from high-quality supervision aligned with MSCA guidance, involving leading researchers across CINBIO groups, and an excellent training environment through courses, workshops, seminars and hands-on training.
