CINBIO is a multidisciplinary research centre with more than 200 members of staff: professors, lecturers, PhD candidates, and lab technicians. This investment is part of the University of Vigo’s mission to develop the field of biomedicine and biotechnology with a key differential element with other research centres of similar characteristics: its multidisciplinary nature. Top level researchers in disciplines as varied as medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and information technology make up our staff.
